So…it has now been almost 6 full years since I last wrote a post here. Furthermore, it was just the one post I wrote in 2020, I last blogged here in earnest in 2015! Wow! Well it’s good to be back, hopefully it will not take another six years for me to write the next post here! I hope every regular reader of this blog has been well, and may God bless you all.

In the meantime nothing has changed regarding my faith, I am still as Christian as ever, I am still fervent with my faith, I am still as unimpressed with lukewarm Christianity as ever, Jesus is still the King of my life, and always will be, by God’s grace.

So where have I been? Well for the last three years someone else acquired my domain name. This is actually the second time that this has happened with this same domain name! I have so many external ebooks etc all pointing to this domain name that from experience having to trawl through all of them to update them with a new domain name is an excruciating chore. So instead of purchasing a new domain name I decided to just wait it out. (I say “purchase” but they are actually leased annually). Unfortunately it did not take a single year for the other party to relinquish the domain name, as happened first time around but this time the other party held on for either two or three years, I need to check. (The reason that an established domain name is attractive to another party is because of the established traffic that visits the blog or is directed there. OR the hope of selling the domain name back to the original owner, ie me, at a hugely inflated price.) So during all that time, the blog itself has been offline.

And prior to that, I did not feel that I was in a good place to be sharing thoughts as I was not particularly close to God, and my heart was full of anger towards other Christians. So I’ve deliberately taken the time offline to let all the anger seep out of me. And I believe it has. I believe God’s wisdom has given me new ways to reflect on past experiences. If I’m going to be honest, I am still not as close to God as I would like, but that is due to circumstance not because my faith has eroded.

So moving forward, I am looking forward to sharing fresh thoughts and experiences in my relationship with God and with His word, Amen!
